RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE

Location: 28 Orchard Street, New York, NY
Schedule: Part-time or full-time, with weekend availability required

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Sales Associate to join the team at our 28 Orchard store. The role is focused on creating a welcoming and thoughtful Sandy Liang experience for every customer, maintaining strong store and product standards, and supporting the day-to-day operation of 28 Orchard. We’re looking for someone who is friendly, proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working as part of a small team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Welcome and assist customers with product, fit, styling and general brand knowledge
-Deliver attentive and thoughtful customer service in line with the Sandy Liang store experience
-Develop strong knowledge of current and upcoming collections, collaborations and launches
-Process sales, returns, exchanges and other customer transactions Maintain a clean, organized and well-presented sales floor, fitting rooms and POS area
-Support opening, closing and daily store procedures
-Assist with receiving and processing deliveries, replenishment, transfers, damages and maintaining an organized, trade-ready stockroom
-Support cycle counts and inventory checks to help maintain accurate stock levels
-Capture relevant customer feedback, product requests and opportunities and share these with the Store Manager
-Support VIP appointments, launches, activations, sample sales and other store events as needed

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

-NYC-based
-Authorized to work in the United States
-Flexibility to work weekends and peak trading periods
-Previous retail, hospitality or customer-facing experience preferred
-Warm, confident and comfortable engaging with customers
-Strong attention to detail and an appreciation for product and presentation
-Reliable, organized and willing to work across both front and back of house as part of a small store team
-Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-moving environment
-Able to lift, move and unpack boxes and merchandise as part of regular store and stockroom operations, with or without reasonable accommodation Interest in Sandy Liang and familiarity with the brand is a plus

$23/hour. Seasonal uniform allowance provided
